Q1.  What key research references inspired your final designs and why are these important (these can be things mentionted in sessions, during your research or while on one of the trips, visits or client meets)? Q1. The key References which inspired my work are the Graphic design Idea Book and Graphic Design School. I feel like two books helped me create my layout for my information board by making me consider things like the layout of text, fonts and colour scheme. As well as books and websites, the other major factor which inspired my work is the trip to the Tudor house Museum. Designs & Development  These screenshots below are of my final and development designs. My Initial designs can be found on a separate blog post.  Tudor House Museum Information Board At first I did struggle to come up with a concept for the information board. I decided I needed to start with a background first, rather than to start with a layout. As the room in the Tudor house is about the world war I wanted the colour scheme to represent this. Set by live client Wyre Forest District Council. The aim was to get students to explore, understand and then best create example wayfinding and associated interpretation/information board concepts for a potential new cycle trail in the Wyre Forest area. Students had a minimum of an interpretation/information board, directional wayfinding signs and mockup web or phone screens to develop as the brief's main requirements. A. Trip To London On the 3rd of April, 2019, we went to London for the day to visit the Design Museum as well as other museums. This visit has helped me a lot as I have been able to gain some vital research for my live brief with the Tudor House Museum. This trip has ultimately lead me to change my designs for my information board which my designs for the A4 information sheet and the web-pages will be based on.   The last 3 pictures are of an interactive digital screen inside the design museum. After seeing this design I am considering changing my information board as I think this is a very effective idea.   The two images above are photos of legible wayfinding signage in London.
